Mayuri Amin (Mayu) trained as a physiotherapist at Kings’ College London, graduating in 2010. She initially worked in the NHS at Guys and St Thomas’ hospitals in a number of specialties including musculoskeletal pain and injuries, orthopaedics, respiratory, rehabilitation and Women’s Health which remains a keen interest of hers. Since moving back to Yorkshire in 2013 she has specialized in the musculoskeletal field of physiotherapy, working in both private and NHS settings.
Her skills include assessment and treatment of a wide range of conditions from sports injuries to acute, chronic and recurrent pains of all parts of the body; using manual therapies, rehabilitation including pilates and functional movement patterns, soft tissue techniques and acupuncture to restore movement and function to enable client’s individual goals to be achieved.
